Spend your first two years earning your bachelor's degree at Independence Community College (ICC)! We are fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and after spending two years at ICC, you're able to take the money you saved to a four-year institution and finish your last two years toward a bachelor's degree.

Scholarships are available to international students! 

ICC provides a home away from home experience with our small campus and one-on-one attention from instructors. We have an enrollment of approximately 800 students and a 14:1 average student to teacher ratio. As an international student at ICC, you will be assigned a Faculty Advisor & Success Coach, who will support your success while attending ICC! Your Success Coach will be your “go-to” person for any questions or concerns that may arise before and after you arrive to campus. Our goal is to make your transition to the United States, and to ICC, as smooth as possible!

Our campus is located in the beautiful southeast Kansas town of Independence. Full of heart and history, Independence offers a hometown feel coupled with ample enriching community activities. Our 68-acre campus includes the Academic Building, Fine Arts Building, Student Union, Fab Lab, Field House, Administration Building, 18-hole Frisbee Golf Course, athletic practice fields, and Student Housing.
