On July 20, 2015, the California Community Colleges Board of Governors voted unanimously to recognize Clovis Community College as the 113th campus of California’s community college system.Clovis Community College serves nearly 7,000 students in California’s heartland and joins Fresno City College and Reedley College as part of the State Center Community College District, one of the state’s largest community college districts serving over 46,000 students. - Academic Counseling & Student Educational Planning (SEP) assist students in the selection of courses and majors and with strategies to develop and achieve their educational goals.
- Child Development Center serves a dual role by providing high quality child development and child-care services for children; and as a model demonstration site for students studying child development.
- Tutorial Center is Free for all currently registered students. The tutors are students who have successfully completed the subjects they are tutoring.
- Psychological Services at the Clovis Community College focuses on working toward personal awareness while providing a comforting and safe environment.
- CalWorks operates as a joint venture of the college and the Fresno County Department of Social Services. The program’s goal is to assist students in transitioning from public assistance to self-sufficiency.
- Trio Programs are geared to help students meet their educational goals and objectives. These programs serve first generation, low income students and/or students with disabilities.
- Disabled Student Programs & Services provides assistance to students with documented physical, psychological and learning disabilities.
- Financial aid refers to any form of aid meant to assist a student toward meeting the costs of higher education. Financial aid can come in the form of grants, scholarships, or work experience.
