GIA's Graduate Gemologist (G.G.) diploma is regarded as the industry's most prestigious academic credential. In six months, you learn all of the grading, identification, and sales skills that you need to become a buyer, retailer, or jewelry specialist. Get hands-on with hundreds of diamonds and gemstones, and develop highly marketable skills in diamond grading and gem identification.

Applied Jewelry Arts (A.J.A.) Diploma Program (6 months)
Learn all the design and pre-production fundamentals you need to create custom jewelry professionally. With hands-on training you gain skills in illustrating, computer rendering, wax carving, and casting - the crucial first steps in creating jewelry. Offered in Carlsbad only.

Graduate Jeweler (G.J.) Diploma Program (6 months)
At your own fully equipped workbench, you learn the skills of a professional bench jeweler through hands-on practice with gemstones, karat gold, platinum, and silver. Through multimedia presentations, lectures, integrated videos, and live demonstrations, you learn how to manufacture precious metals and gemstones into beautiful jewelry. Offered in Carlsbad only.

Jewelry Design Class (8 weeks)
Enter one of the most creative fields in the jewelry industry: design. In just eight weeks, you'll have the creative and technical skills you need to begin your career as a jewelry designer. Through one-on-one coaching from our expert instructors, you learn how to design for beauty, problem-free manufacturing, long wear, and comfort.

GIA School of Business: Jewelry Business Management (J.B.M.) Diploma
Gain a comprehensive business education with a specialized focus on the jewelry industry.
