Thank you for your interest in attending Clover Park. No TOEFL is required for admission if you have completed the highest level of approved English as a Second Language Program. Students with college level English can enter our programs without TOEFL, and conditional admission is offered.

Clover Park Technical College is a two-year, accredited technical college supported by the State of Washington. Clover Park offers many state-of-the-art professional training programs that emphasize the educational philosophy, “learning by doing.” Clover Park graduates are highly regarded by business and industry professionals.

Our Location

Located within the City of Lakewood, Washington about 40 miles south of Seattle, Clover Park is in the heart of the Northwest. Students enjoy the tall evergreen trees, mild climate and a variety of lakes. With close proximity to the Pacific Ocean, Mt. Rainier, and the Cascade Mountain Range, outdoor enthusiasts will always have something to do year-round.

Clover Park is in walking distance from shopping at the Lakewood Towne Center, ethnic restaurants, markets, many specialty stores. The Towne Center features a movie theatre and dozens of retail stores and restaurants. The on-campus cafeteria, restaurant & pastry store (run by our Culinary & Pastry Arts students), espresso shop, bookstore, and spa (hair styling salon, facial and massage provided by our students in Cosmetology, Esthetics Sciences and Massage Studies programs) are fun places for students.

Admission

Become an international student by following these steps:

  1. Download the application form from our website at (www.cptc.edu/international). Mail or fax it to us.

  • Fax: 253.589.6054
  • Fill out the Financial Responsibility Form. Please send the original form by mail. Please include a bank statement showing the funds available for your first year of study.
  • Include a $50.00 U.S. dollars Admissions Application fee, which can be paid as:
    • Bank check or money order
    • Credit card payment with authorized signature.
  • Please attach a small color photo to your application.
  • Once we receive the above items and the admissions criteria is met, an I-20 Form will be mailed to you. Please take the I-20 Form with you to the U.S. Consulate in your country and apply for a student visa.

    Estimated Tuition and Fees schedule for Academic Programs:

    Please contact the International Education Programs Office for detailed information on tuition and fees. The following information is subject to change.

    • Tuition for Winter, Spring & Summer 2015 Quarters is $268.26/credit (1-10 credits & 19+ credits) and $51.85/credit (11-18 credits)
    • Typical program enrollment per quarter is 18-25 credits (varies by program)
    • International Student Health Insurance: $366.00 per quarter (effective through Summer 2015)
    • Additional quarterly fees: $150.00
    • Program-specific fees and cost for textbooks & supplies vary from program to program
