The English Language Institute provides five levels of quality instruction, from high beginner to high advanced. The Office of Admissions works closely with ELI to ensure that academically qualified applicants receive the English language instruction needed in order to succeed.

- Submit satisfactory SAT or ACT scores (required for first time freshmen and transfer student with less than 30 credits)
- Submit a satisfactory official TOEFL or IELTS score report if English is not your first language
- Submit original or certified secondary school transcripts and results from any leaving certificates or university entrance exams
- Submit official transcripts for each postsecondary educational institution attended
- Students applying for an F-1 student visa are required to submit a financial support statement and verification of finances
