Imagine a city that feels like a park but has museums, concerts, monuments, festivals and great restaurants. You have heard about Washington, DC, the capital of the United States, for a long time. Aren't you curious to see what it is really like? This city was made for tourists. The museums are free, the concerts are numerous, the people are friendly and helpful and the public transportation is very convenient. Come for a month to visit or come for a few years to improve your English and then continue on to study at a famous University.

Study at one of our Centers in the Washington D.C. area. One located right in the heart of the nation's Capitol at Dupont Circle near:

Every cycle the International Language Institute has free movies, parties, sports days and excursions to Washington DC's monuments and museums to complement your English study.

ILI's Students

Students come from over 30 countries. Some are young and some are old. Students are teachers, business men and women, university students, high school students, religious workers, diplomats, housewives, engineers, military people, and artists. Basically EVERYONE!

ILI's Teachers

Teachers at the International Language Institute stay at the International Language Institute. Many have been teaching here for over 3 years. The family atmosphere makes students and teachers alike want to stay here. All teachers are well qualified, native speaking and professional.

Homestay Program

There's no better way to learn about American culture than by living with an American family. Our families are excited to learn about you and your culture and want to be a part of your American experience. The family will pick you up from the airport and provide breakfast seven days per week and dinner five days per week. The cost is $875 for four weeks.
