Welcome, International Students!
At OJC, we are interested in providing students a quality education wrapped in an experience that will last a lifetime. Through programs, activities, and events designed to enhance the student experience, the International Programs & Services Office strives to foster international awareness and appreciation on the OJC campus and in the community while providing crucial support services to our international student population.
Five Great Reasons to Come to OJC
- Whether they’re coming for the first two years of a bachelor’s degree program or a one-year certificate program, OJC provides students with a challenging but supportive academic environment where they are more than just a number.
- The cost of attendance makes OJC an affordable choice for students with a variety of goals.
- Articulation agreements allow students successfully completing either an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree program to transfer 60 hours of credit earned at OJC to most public and private institutions in Colorado. (Institutions outside of Colorado will accept our credits for transfer, but there are no articulation agreements in place to facilitate the transfer.)
- OJC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association and the National League of Nursing.
- OJC offers students the opportunity to live in the on-campus Residence Hall, which gives them an avenue to meet other students, easy access to on-campus activities and events through a variety of clubs and special programs, and opportunities to interact with a variety of people to strengthen their language skills and confidence.

International Programs and The IRO
The International Programs Office (IPO) offers a full range of services.
