Saddleback College, one of the premier community colleges in California and the United States, is a two-year, postsecondary institution of higher education fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). What We Offer

  • Successful Transfer to Prestigious 4-Year Universities. Of the nine community colleges in Orange County, Saddleback College ranks first in transfers to USC, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, San Diego State University, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and second in transfers to UC Berkeley, UCLA, and UC San Diego. To help our students achieve their transfer goals, numerous workshops, campus tours, and college fairs are held each year.

Admission

Admissions requirements include:
  • Completed application
  • Application fee
  • Personal statement
  • Original official transcript of academic records equivalent to graduation from an American high school
  • Evidence of financial support to cover all costs for living expenses, tuition, books, and health insurance
  • Minimum TOEFL score of 470 (52 iBT). Saddleback College also accepts the grade 2 level on the STEP test, or a minimum score of 4 on the iTEP or a score of 4.5 on the IELTS.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • Copy of passport identity page

Fall deadline (August start): June 1 (out of US), August 1 (transfer student within the US)
Spring deadline (January start): November 1 (out of US), December 1 (transfer student within the US)
